IBC Chapter 17 Special Inspections

About

EAS is a proud provider of International Building Code (IBC) Chapter 17: Special Inspections. Special Inspections provide observation and testing for materials and assemblies on key components of a structure by certified personnel that must be provided to the building official.

These key components of a structure are identified in the Statement of Special Inspections. EAS is a leader in providing quality assurance that once constructed, key components of a structure will meet code requirements and project specifications as provided by building departments and design engineers.

Our Special Inspections team strives to be an industry leader of inspectors by training our staff to become certified Master of Special Inspection (MSI’s) through the International Code Council (ICC). EAS is approved to provide continuing education (CEUs) for SCLLR Special Inspectors to renew their certifications as well as serving on exam development committees (EDCs) for the ICC.
